Inanimate Fudd Found

Elmer Fudd was found dead today at his La Costa condominium of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to the face. Detective Robert Farquar of the La Costa Police said that a shotgun was found next to the decedent’s body. Farquar stated that, “The damned barrel of the gun was bent back in a ‘U’ shape such that the shot would be directed toward the shooter. Damnedest thing I’ve ever seen in my three months on the force.”
The incident was reported by a Mr. B. Bunny, a close friend of the deceased. “He was so kind to everyone he met,” said Mr. Bunny. “I used to refer to him as ‘Doc’, and he loved that.”
Mr. Fudd was 60 years of age.
